Note

Prepare to be seduced by its enchanting aromas. The nose unfolds with a symphony of luscious fruits, where succulent morello cherries and juicy raspberries take center stage. As the bouquet evolves, it reveals the allure of blackcurrant notes, interwoven with whispers of tantalizing liquorice and the mysterious essence of an ancient undergrowth. Adding an irresistible touch of intrigue, a delicate hint of spice dances on the palate, elevating this wine to new heights of complexity and sensory pleasure.

Winery

It all began in 1947 with André-Marcel Goichot, our charismatic grandfather. We find ourselves in Merceuil, just two rows of vines away from Beaune. The war had left its mark, even in the winegrowing haven of Burgundy.

Following in his father's footsteps, André-Marie Goichot joined the company in 1982 after studying oenology. He assumed the management of Maison Goichot in 1987.

In 2007, the next generation joined their father in the business. Arnauld came aboard in 2007, followed by Adrien in 2012, Pierre-Alexandre in 2013, and finally Noémie in 2018. With fresh blood and abundant energy, we continue the legacy.

Less than a century has passed since the establishment of the négociant-éleveur (wine merchant-breeder) profession, followed by the winegrower, winemaker, and négociant-éleveur professions. Three generations, three transformations. And oh, how things have changed! Yet, we remain steadfast in preserving our essence. What we cherish most and what drives us, just as it did for our father and grandfather, is the wine we share.
